Forecast for November 23, 2010

Today:
This will be our last unseasonably warm day for a while. Anticipate high temperatures inside the beltway between the mid and upper 60s. During the afternoon a cold front will slide through. Winds will turn to the West Northwest and temperatures will begin dropping. A few showers can't be ruled out as well with the passing of the front.

Tonight:
Skies will clear back out and temperatures will drop into the lower 40s in the city and upper 30s in the outlying suburbs. Winds will be out of the NW at 5-15 mph.

Wednesday, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday:
Wednesday skies will be sunny with much cooler conditions across the Mid-Atlantic. Highs will reach the low 50s instead of mid 60s and winds will make it feel cooler as they come out of the North at 5-15 mph. Thanksgiving our weather will be a little unsettled. Skies will be mainly gray through the day and we will have a chance for a few scattered showers. Highs again will be near 50. Shopping on Friday a few scattered showers will be possible early. Expect partly sunny skies by afternoon, with highs again in the low 50s.
