Forecast for February 25, 2011

Today:
Today will be crummy, awful, or however else you want to describe it. During the morning we'll have some scattered showers. A front will then head through in the afternoon and bring us a shot for more rain and a few t'storms. Winds with this front will be intense. They will gust up to 60 mph, especially during the afternoon and early evening hours. This has caused the National Weather Service to issue a High Wind Warning for the entire DC area tomorrow. If you have a flight you will want to pay close attention, as it could be moved to Dulles from Reagan (Occurred last Saturday), and or delayed/cancelled.

Tonight:
The winds will continue to howl through the evening, before finally tapering off through the overnight hours. Skies will be partly cloudy as temperatures cool off into the low 30s.

Saturday through Tuesday:
Saturday will be quieter with temperatures only warming into the upper 40s. Sunday will be dry with mainly gray skies and milder conditions. Monday another strong system will slide through bringing a shot at more rain, before we move into a quieter weather pattern starting Tuesday.
