Forecast for April 5, 2011

Today:
Yesterday we tied record highs of 85 degrees at National and 84 at Baltimore and 83 at Dulles.
We'll start off today, much colder and with remnants of a squall line that will move east by the midday hours. It will be windy out of the west and temperatures will not rebound at all from our morning lows. Temperatures, in fact, will dip down into the low 50s by the early afternoon. We may see a peak of sunshine as we head towards evening but most of the day will be gray.

Tonight:
It'll be a chilly night with clear skies and temperatures knocking back into the upper 30s. Winds will diminish out of the West to 5-15 mph.

Wednesday through Saturday:
Wednesday through Saturday look seasonable temperature wise. On Wednesday and Thursday we'll have dry conditions with highs in the low to mid 60s. Friday and Saturday the seasonable temperatures will continue, but we'll have chances for rain showers as well. Next week we may have a big warm up with temperatures on Monday moving back into the 80s.
