Forecast for October 26, 2010

Today:
A hurricane like storm system will be affecting much of the country, but especially the Upper Midwest. While high wind warnings extend from Nebraska through Illinois, we will be basking in another day of abnormally warm temperatures. Even humidity will be a factor through the next 48 hours. Today skies will be partly sunny, and temperatures will climb into the mid 70s. Winds will be out of the S at 5-15 mph.

Tonight:
Skies will be mostly cloudy through the night time hours as a cold front inches closer to the DC Metro. Expect winds to be breezy through the overnight out of the S. This will keep low temperatures from dropping below our average high for this time of year (Mid 60s!). Rain will be possible as we head into Wednesday morning.

Wednesday through Friday:
Wednesday will be an extremely mild day for the area as highs climb into the mid to upper 70s! Showers and thunderstorms will be possible as well as the front inches ever closer to DC. Showers will taper off Wednesday evening, and we'll have one last mild day on Thursday before temperatures return back to near 60 on Friday.

Flier:
