Forecast for October 5, 2010

Today:
While the forecast for today won't win any awards, it will be much improved from Monday. Monday we nearly tied a record low high temperature. We ended up beating it by just one degree as we hit a high of 57. For today an upper level low will continue to spin in the vicinity of DC. This will keep us from breaking out into mostly sunny skies. We will however see at least a few peaks of the sun. Temperatures will be more comfortable Wednesday afternoon after we start off the morning in the 40s. Tuesday night we will remain under gray skies, and bring in a slight chance of rain during the overnight as a weak wave of energy brings us another shot at showers.

High: 62
Low: 50

Wednesday & Beyond:
A shot of rain will continue to be in the forecast through the morning hours. Conditions will finally improve Thursday and into the weekend. Currently the weekend looks absolutely perfect with highs in the 70s underneath sunny skies.

As Always, The Forecast Flier:
