Forecast for December 15, 2010

Today:
The DC region is in store for yet another breezy cold day. Highs today will be lucky to climb above freezing for the entire Mid-Atlantic region. Winds will gust up to 30 mph out of the W and skies will be sunny.

Tonight:
Winds will become more manageable tonight as we drop down into the low 20s underneath mainly clear skies.

Thursday through Weekend:
We will have a shot at some light snow on Thursday afternoon as a weak disturbance moves through. Temperatures through the weekend will begin to moderate, but don't anticipate anything to comfortable for a while. Their is potential for a snow storm on Sunday, but there is no reason to be alarmed yet. The latest forecasting model takes it off the coastline. I'll continue to monitor the situation though, and update as needed. Stay warm out there!
