Forecast for December 31, 2010

New Year's Eve:
It will be another gorgeous winter day across the Mid-Atlantic Region as a High pressure system remains in control of our weather. Winds will be light as temperatures climb into the mid to upper 50s!

Tonight:
Skies will be clear and winds light as temperatures stay above freezing through the overnight hours. Lows will be in the mid 30s in the city with lower 30s possible in the outlying suburbs.

New Year's Day into Next Week:
We will start off 2011 with temperatures rising to near 60 degrees in DC. The one factor that could limit our highs will be clouds and potential showers that will move in during the afternoon. Chances for rain will continue on Sunday as well. Temperatures next week will return to more seasonal values.
