Forecast for December 22, 2010

Today:
Skies today will be partly sunny as we climb to near 40 degrees again! Winds will be fairly light out of the N at 5-10 mph.

Tonight:
Winds will pick up out of the NW at 5-15 mph as we drop into the mid 20s underneath mainly clear skies.

Thursday through Christmas:
Thursday will be breezy but if you are flying anywhere the winds shouldn't cause to many delays. They will be gusting up to 30 mph out of the NW. Christmas Eve looks fairly quiet before the next system arrives on Christmas. Models are still not in agreement but they should come together in the next 24 hours. At this time it looks like the best chances for a white Christmas will reside to the S of DC. Chances for snow also look to be later on Christmas into Boxing Day.
