Forecast for February 22, 2011

Today:
We will wake up with 1-3" of snow today. Temperatures will be well below normal as highs only reach the low to mid 30s. Winds will be out of the N at 5-15 mph. Skies will start off gray but begin to clear by the afternoon.

Tonight:
Skies tonight will be clear and winds will lighten up as well. Temperatures in combination with the fresh snow pack will drop into the lower 20s, and teens in the suburbs.

Wednesday through Sunday:
Wednesday will be cool but temperatures will rebound to near 40. Thursday we'll return into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. Another system will be sliding through and bring us a chance for rain only. The rain chances will continue Friday as well. This means the snow that we wake up to will not last long. As of now, the weekend looks to start off dry, but end wet on Sunday afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be near 50 which is seasonable for this time of year.
