Forecast for February 18, 2011

Today:
Today we will hit 70 degrees for the 3rd time this month! This will unfortunately spoil us as snow chances reenter the forecast next week. Winds this afternoon will be breezy at times out of the W. Skies will become partly sunny and temperatures will hit the low to mid 70s across the Mid-Atlantic.

Tonight:
Tonight we'll have one last chance to enjoy an adult beverage or two on patios. Lows will hit the lower 40s and upper 30s underneath mainly clear skies. Winds will stay sustained out of the W at 5-15 mph.

Saturday through Tuesday:
Saturday a strong, dry cold front will push through. It will become windy out of the NW and high temperatures will only reach the mid 50s. Weather will be even cooler on Sunday, Monday, and colder yet Tuesday. A second system will move through Monday into Tuesday and bring with it a chance for mainly rain showers. Snow cannot be ruled out yet, although the likelihood that it would accumulate is low.

Flier:
