Forecast for February 14, 2011

Valentine's Day:
Skies today will be sunny and temperatures will be mild, but unfortunately not all will be perfect on the special day for lovers. Winds today will howl out of the WSW at 15-25 mph. They will gust in excess of 40 mph, especially during the afternoon hours. Highs today will reach the mid 50s across the area.

Tonight:
Winds tonight will stay breezy as you take that loved one out for dinner. They will turn to the NW and bring in some cooler air as well. Low temperatures tonight will be in the mid 20s in the 'Burbs and near freezing in the District.

Rest of the Workweek:
Temperatures Tuesday will be seasonable behind the cold front, but the mild temperatures we had through the weekend will return quickly. Highs Wednesday will be back to the mid 50s, they will be near 60 Thursday, and Friday temps will reach the mid 60s! Precipitation chances of any sort don't look to move through our area through at least the weekend.

Flier:
