Forecast for February 23, 2011

Today:
Skies will be sunny throughout the day, but temperatures will stay below normal. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s with winds staying light and variable through the day as High Pressure rides over head of us.

Tonight:
Skies will stay clear tonight as a warmer air mass begins moving over head. This will keep us from dropping off to much. Lows will be in the low 30s in the city, and in the 20s in the outlying suburbs. Winds will stay light and variable.

Thursday through Sunday:
Clouds will thicken on Thursday as the next system approaches us. We'll stay on the warm side of this storm track, which means the precipitation that moves in Thursday evening will be in the form of rain. Expect showers to continue on Friday before skies clear up Saturday. Temperatures through the weekend will be seasonable with highs hanging around the 50 degree mark.
