Forecast for January 21, 2011

Today:
The snowstorm that wasn't is one of several headlines today. At most we should expect to wake up with a coating of snow across the DC Metro. Higher amounts will be found to our north and northeast. The headline today, however, will be the breezy conditions across the Mid-Atlantic. Temperatures today will feel closer to 20 than our actual high, which will be in the low 30s.

Tonight:
Winds will stay breezy at times during the evening, but begin to calm down during the overnight. Low temperatures will drop down into the upper teens.

Weekend into next week:
The weekend looks fairly quiet and cold. High temperatures on Saturday will not climb above 30 degrees! Looking ahead to next week, below normal temperatures will continue. A chance for a rain/snow event moves in late Monday into Tuesday.
