Forecast for January 25, 2011

Today:
Skies today will become Partly Sunny as mild temperatures surge into our area in advance of the next storm system that will approach from the SW. Highs will reach the mid to upper 40s and winds will be light out of the S.

Tonight:
Skies will continue to thicken as Low pressure system heads our way. Precipitation should hold off until after sunrise with low temperatures dropping into the low 30s.

Wednesday through end of Week:
The latest computer models are bringing colder air into the system for the DC region and the track of the Low from the latest models would bring a decent snowstorm to the region. At this time 5-10" look possible across portions of the Beltway. Stay tuned as much refining will be made in the next 24 hours. System will clear out early Thursday and temperatures Thursday and Friday look to be in the upper 30s.
