Forecast for January 5, 2011

Today:
Today will be pleasant compared to where our weather pattern is headed. All signs point to cooler temperatures and a few chances for snow over the next couple of weeks. Highs this afternoon will be in the upper 30s to near 40 degrees with light out of the West.

Tonight:
Clouds will thicken up as we head into the overnight hours. This will keep temperatures from plummeting to far, lows will be in near 30 with calm winds.

Thursday through Sunday:
Thursday will contain mainly gray skies with just a few peaks at the sun as a system inches it's way closer to us. Thursday night into Friday a few light snow showers will be possible but accumulations look to be light if at all. Saturday will be breezy out of the NW, making it feel like it's only in the 20s. Sunday conditions will improve slightly but anticipate the cold temperatures to continue.
