Forecast for January 7, 2011

Today:
A clipper system will be moving through early today. A few flurries will be possible after daybreak with a coating of snow possible prior to that. Winds will be out of the W at 5-10 mph with temperatures reaching the mid-upper 30s underneath mainly cloudy skies.

Tonight:
Clouds will stay fairly thick across the Mid-Atlantic. This will keep temperatures from plummeting to far underneath the cold air mass. Lows will be in the mid to upper 20s.

Weekend through Tuesday:
Temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 30s through Tuesday with Sunday appearing to be the coldest. Wind chills on Sunday will make it feel like temperatures are only in the teens! Precip chances stay low until Tuesday when there is a chance for some more snow, that chance doesn't appear to be anything great at this time though.

Flier:
